What is "Bacne"

"Bacne is" the name given to back acne. This can occur on the body in areas like the upper back, upper arms & the buttocks. Since the skin on the body is usually thicker than that of the face, the pores on the body are deeper. This means that "bacne" can be more painful than facial acne. Back acne starts to be seen around the time of puberty when hormones become active. Like facial acne it can be in the type of whiteheads, blackheads, pustules & nodules.

Why Does Back Acne Form?

Back acne is fundamentally a clogged pore on your back. Now why do the pores of some people clog & others don't? Thats a lovely query & the exact reason is still not known for positive. However the following reasons definitely contribute to why you may have clogged pores.

The above ingredients form a plug of debris that clogs the pores. This debris will continue to accumulate in the follicle until it gets so giant & ruptures. When this happens, white blood cells come speeding in to surround the spilled debris which is now infected & inflamed. Depending on how deep down the follicle the rupture was, will select how extreme the acne is. A deep rupture will lead to bad back acne, namely nodules & cysts.

What To Do For Back Acne?

First, don't panic! Wear loose comfortable clothing that allows skin to breathe, like cotton. Try to keep away from carrying anything on your back that may cause pressure or friction.(acne mechanica) Be mindful of lovely hygiene & wash times every day with a salicylic acid body wash. This will exfoliate the top dead layer of skin, cut through oil to tidy out the pores & kill the excess P. acnes bacteria.

Do not let sweat build up as this can block your pores. Look for a back acne treatment that includes a salicylic acid spray. This is key & is ideal for those hard to reach areas like the middle of your upper back. Keep the spray on hand & spritz a few times a day to keep acne at bay.
