Broccoli that keep skin healthy |
Acne is a widely known skin condition that affects everyone at time or another in their lifetime.
Fundamentally, it is a disorder of the sebaceous glands ( glands in the skin that produce an oily substance) of the face, chest, neck & upper back. When the sebaceous glands produce much oil, they become clogged with the oil they created, the tremendous and of this substance accumulates dirt & bring bacteria to digest from, which generate an inflammation within the pores that lead to pimples to emerge on the skin surface.
Additional factors contribute the formation of acne like heredity, stress, some drugs, menstrual cycle, androgens, liver dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, cosmetic, exposure to industrial pollutants & oily skin.
1. Drink water drinking
v Water is a vital element to maintain the right skin moisture & provide the necessary nutrients to the skin cells.

v Increase water consumption. Water helps flush toxin out & help transport nutrients in the body.
2. Broccoli
This cruciferous veggie is filled with antioxidants, including vitamins E & C. The vitamin C in broccoli helps in collagen production & keeps your skin healthy, while vitamin E preserves your skin cells & protects against UV radiation damage.
3. Cabbage
Compress the leaves between a linen cloth & cotton to make them smooth & soft. Place the compress on the affected area over night & experience spotless skin next morning.
You can also crush the leaves & apply them directly on the acne areas. Regular application of this treatment produces brilliant results within few weeks.
